Giving to A&M Student Affairs
What should you know about the Division of Student Affairs? First and foremost, you should know that we are dedicated to fostering the values that define the Aggie Spirit:
- Excellence
- Integrity
- Loyalty
- Leadership
- Selfless Service
- Welcoming
As you know, those values set Aggieland apart from every other college and university in the country and make Aggies the successful, actively engaged citizen-leaders they are known to be.
So how does Texas A&M so successfully foster the “Spirit that can n’er be told?” Largely through the Division of Student Affairs, which serves as the home for such fabled Aggie activities and traditions as the Corps of Cadets, Muster, Silver Taps, Fish Camp, MSC, OPAS, SCONA, Wiley Lecture Series, and various university band and choral programs including the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band and the Singing Cadets.
By supporting the history and tradition of our campus, in collaboration and support of our academic colleagues and the over 800 officially recognized student organizations, the Division makes sure that students connect their in- and out-of-class experiences in the seamless educational experience that is unique to Texas A&M.
Staff in sixteen departments of the Division support our students’ experiences, and they share an unparalleled energy, dedication, and commitment to excellence that create the rich educational environment our students so greatly enjoy and benefit from.
Take a look at just a few of the programs supported by the Division of Student Affairs.
The list of exceptional student opportunities goes on and on…and we’d enjoy the opportunity to tell you more about the Division of Student Affairs and its unique role in perpetuating the “Spirit of Aggieland!”
