SUPPORT SPIRIT AND MIND

Overview

Graduate fellowships make a tremendous difference for the recipient and Texas A&M. In technical fields in which Aggies have always excelled, such as chemical engineering or architecture, entry-level positions often require a master’s degree. Whether graduate students leave with master’s or doctoral degrees, these Aggies take their values with them to their workplaces and their new communities. Those who become professors at other universities share their Aggie work ethic and leadership skills with thousands more.

One of the best ways to attract great faculty is with bright graduate students. Our faculty members rely on graduate students to assist with research, teach labs and handle review sessions. Because the state contributes limited amounts to Texas A&M’s graduate programs, private support is essential. It’s also rewarding for donors to connect with the graduate fellows their gifts support, as the ensuing relationships can be intellectually gratifying for both scholars and donors.
