"Spirit Impact" means your gift will benefit a part of Texas A&M that cultivates spirit, such as student activities and organizations, traditions, special events, or any programs that take place outside the classroom. Spirit Impact scholarships are awarded to students based on their out-of-classroom involvement, through programs like the Corps of Cadets or an MSC committee.

Texas A&M's student programs have been turning Aggies into outstanding citizens for more than a century. They build well-rounded leaders with positive values whose contributions to business and civic life are immeasurable. A&M holds academic excellence high, but our graduates draw equally on the deep values intrinsic to our student activities. These empowering programs, like the Corps of Cadets and Student Affairs, give Aggies the insight and determination they need to make good things happen wherever they go.

You can choose to support the spirit of Aggieland with a pass-through gift to a now account, but most donors elect to make a gift that will last in perpetuity. An endowed gift impacts A&M traditions and student activities forever, as the Foundation will distribute only the earnings on your investment.

Operation Spirit and Mind

On October 11, 2008, Texas A&M University President Elsa Murano Announced the launch of Operation Spirit and Mind, a multiyear, $300 million initiative to raise private funds for new endowed scholarships and graduate fellowships for Texas A&M students.
