Slovacek Sausage Establishes CARPOOL Endowment
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. the student-run non-profit organization, CARPOOL, is serving the Bryan/College Station area with free rides home. Recognizing that, although it is helping make the Aggie experience a safe one, it is not without cost, Timothy J. Rabroker ’82 committed a gift of $25,000 to establish the Slovacek Sausage CARPOOL Endowment through the Texas A&M Foundation.

CARPOOL has benefitted from his generosity, inspired by the efforts of students who dedicate time and energy to such a worthwhile cause. “Over the past several years I have witnessed time and again the immense dedication and passion that these students display. CARPOOL’s members are truly making an impact on their fellow Aggies and their outreach to initiate sister programs across the country is highly commendable,” he states.
