The graduate programs, with M.S. and Ph.D. programs, prepare research scientists for industry and academia. Our faculty's scientific expertise is invaluable to society: in service on scientific advisory and editorial boards, in informing public schools and the general public about scientific innovations, and in helping Texas and the United States meet the scientific challenges of the 21st century.
