Geosciences
Since its founding, the College of Geosciences has been a national leader in geosciences education and research. Thousands of students have received excellent education in earth, oceanographic and atmospheric sciences. These young people graduate from the college well-grounded in the basics and trained in their specialties on state-of-the-art equipment. The college's faculty make fundamental scholarly contributions to teaching and understanding the physical, biological and human forces that control global systems.
