Dwight Look College of Engineering

Leadership, excellence in education and state-of-the-art research facilities are trademarks of the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M. With 7,643 undergraduates and 2,659 graduate students, the college's student body is one of the largest in the United States. More than 400 faculty members and nearly 300 staff members ensure a quality engineering education. The Look College consistently ranks among the nation's top producers of bachelor's degrees in engineering.

Funding Priorities

The College of Engineering identifies and prioritizes the needs of our college each year, with a goal of providing the best possible opportunities to our students and faculty.

Our current funding priorities include:

  • Faculty Fellows Program:
This program ensures a top quality faculty by awarding $5,000 annually to deserving professors. Donors are encouraged to sponsor a fellowship through endowments or multi-year grants. Faculty Fellowships may be named for the donor, for example, the "John Smith Faculty Fellow" or the "ABC Corporation Faculty Fellow."
  • Engineering Scholars Program (ESP):
ESP is an honors program that helps the college recruit top high school students from Texas and the nation. It offers high-achieving students greater depth in their engineering studies and the opportunity to interact with their academic peers. You can create a named ESP with a gift of $50,000.
