Each year, the Texas A&M Foundation makes available millions of dollars to Texas A&M for students and faculty according to donors' wishes. For fiscal year 2008, these funds totaled $69.8 million.

Foundation Assets Made Available to Texas A&M University

The Foundation disburses assets according to donors’ wishes, and the Foundation and University have strict policies to regulate this process. Since 1953, the Foundation has disbursed more than $533.2 million. Disbursements are grouped into four major categories: program support, student scholarships, faculty chairs and professorships and institutional development.
